# 4 Go To a Farmers Market.....

I have been going to a market at least once a month, try for every week. Just wish there was a good year round market near me!

# 89 Do Something For Earth Day.....

Everyday is Earth Day! I have bought a composter, you can put a large amount of stuff in these!! We just keep adding and it keeps composting down! I have the rain barrel and the water is used for plants, washing out Mooches food dishes, and other things. I try to use recycle bags when shopping, but do need some plastic bags to use for cat box emptying. I have been trying to buy more "green" products to use around the house, even though they are more expensive, they are better for people and pets!

#95 Do something special for Mom T 80th Birthday

Sadly, there wasn't a big party or anything like the 75th, as she had just been in Cleveland with the girls, so her birthday consisted of Steve and Carol being in town, and everyone going out to eat. Still, something was done so this is complete.

Updating.....

Going to, again, try to update this blog. For whatever reason, my blog is very slow at trying to post or edit. Always tells me internet explorer not responding! So one post takes at least 15 min. to do!!!

# 28 go somewhere new.....

March's new place was a grocery store/ market. It is Green Food and Produce. It is located at 159 street and Wolf Road. It is a very large store, has many natural and vegetarian items. So far have only went a few items, but if you ever visit my house, the pictures in my kitchen are of produce from there that Lori took for me.

#19 scrap book

April saw scrap booking, nothing great or to write about, just a page here and there, when time allowed.

# 47 Make a Rain Barrel

This is complete, but I didn't make a rain barrel, instead opting to buy one. I would still like to make one, painting it really cool colors, but for now, I am gathering the rain, and using it for my flowers!

# 16 Start a Journal

I have gotten my journal, and officially started it. There may be times a lot is written, other times only few words, but it is started.

# 15 Have a Me Day...

Aprils me day really wasn't a "day" as many things were going on in my life, I took time in minutes and hours this month. I took a couple of hours just to go shopping by myself, (didn't need anything, just got out by my self) scrap booked, had my birthday (even if I did work on it). May hopefully better!

#11 Read two books a month

For April the two books I read was 1) "Go Green, Live Rich" by David Bach. This book gives many good ideas about going green, and different webs that you can go to for info. The live rich part, explains how, over time, that if you "go green" the money that you will save over the years. I found this book very good, and liked a lot of the ideas for going green, and plan on using them. 2) My second book was "Here's the Deal, Don't Touch Me" by Howie Mandel. I really liked this book as Howie was very truthful and funny in it. He described his struggles to become famous, what it was like to have OCD and ADHD, hiding it from the public and finally letting the world know about it.

Catching up......

Today is a catch up day for my list. I have lost two months of posting, due to various things going on. Today is it....catch up!!!!

# 11 read two books a month....

For March my two books was 1.) The Van Alen Legacy. This was the 4th book of a series. Jill previously got me started reading this, after the Twilight series, as these books are also about vampires. This book was the hardest to follow as each chapter was about one of the people in it. Of course, with the ending there is the possibility of another book. 2.) This book was 10 Minute Feng Shui. My question is...if followed, does Feng Shui really work or is it all in the mind? There are some things in here that I will possibly try, but still not totally sure on this.

# 19 Scrap book once a month....

March scrap booking has been completed. Worked on scrap booking a few days during the month. Christmas 2009 almost complete! Also older family pictures are starting to shape up. Have decided instead of trying to do family tree or anything with pictures, I am just putting family members together, hopefully with descriptions and dates.

# 15 Have a me day.....

My March me day was on Sunday March 28th. I didn't spend all day as my me day, but around 11 AM with good friend Melanie, went to Rock Bottom for visiting time.(also to get Lori's Sunday beer glass!) Spent a couple of hours, had food, drink and home. Once home spent time doing my scrap booking.

# 75 go to a cat show

This was done for the year 2010 by attending the cat show on Feb. 28th, which was my "me" day for Feb.

# 54 Make a new recipe

This was done for the month of Feb. by making something vegetarian for Lori. I made butternut squash flat bread with cheddar and nuts. The result she said was good, would make again, but that it was lacking something. But anybody who knows Lori, knows she will figure out what it needs!

# 15 Have a me day

On Sunday Feb. 28th, everyone in family had something going on, so it was time for a me day. Nothing fancy, nothing big, just a cat show. That's right...a cat show. I went to the annual Lincoln State Cat Club show in Palatine. It was interesting watching how they judge the cats, and award the ribbons. It makes it more interesting because of Susie and John having a Maine Coon that they show in the Cleveland area.

# 28 do, go or try something new monthly

For my first month of Feb. 2010 good friends Paul and Melanie had tickets to the Chicago Auto Show. Now you would think that having lived in this area almost 31 years I would have went to this before WRONG! But thanks to Paul and Melanie on Sunday Feb. 21st I have now went to one. It was fun, and different.

Welcome

This is my second 101 in 1001 day list. The first had a few items that didn't get done, as I foolishly put things on there that would involve travel and money. This list isn't like that,is more of me just doing general things, not traveling alot or having to shell out alot of dollars. Hopefully it will get completed without anything left undone. It offically started Wed. Feb. 17th 2010 and will end on Wed. Nov. 13, 2012.
